The Morrie Miller Youth Tackle Football League provides instruction for youth to learn fundamental skills and participate in competitive games emphasizing safety and sportsmanship. A JV game schedule will complement the traditional Saturday morning league format, offering playing opportunities for our beginners.

This is the perfect program for youngsters who want to learn how to play, brush up on the rules, practice skills, participate on a team, and most importantly- HAVE FUN! The focus is on football education and safety, participation, and sportsmanship.

Rules/Code of Ethics
Coaches Shall

  • Exhibit and teach good sportsmanship at all times.
  • Avoid public display of criticism in front of participants or spectators.
  • Avoid a “winning at all costs” attitude.
  • Teach players a fundamental understanding of the game of football.
  • Remember that this is to be about the kids, not the coaches and/or their egos.
  • Keep the games and practice positive and as fun as possible.
  • Do a professional job with fellow coaches and the officiating crews.
  • Display humility in defeat and graciousness in victory.
  • Conclude practices on time as scheduled.
  • Keep a positive attitude with the ultimate goal of keeping as many young athletes in football as possible.
